1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. We also collect data you enter into the calculator, project information, and usage analytics.

We automatically collect technical information such as browser type, IP address, and pages visited to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve the LinerCheck service, process subscriptions, send service-related communications, and provide customer support.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your calculation data for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within the EU. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Access to your organization's data is restricted to authenticated members of your organization. Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel and Neon (PostgreSQL).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional emails, PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics, and Sentry for error monitoring.

Each third-party service processes only the minimum data necessary for their function. We do not share your calculation data with any third party.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the service is used.

You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. The service will continue to function with only essential cookies.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by contacting us.

You may also request restriction of processing or object to processing. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days.

Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with accounting regulations.
